The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has felicitated with Muslims in his Senatorial District and Nigeria at large, on the occasion of the 2022 Eid-el-Fitri Sallah celebrations, which ends the fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
The senate through a statement by his Media Aide Olubunmi Omoogun urged Nigerians to keep praying for the peace, progress and unity of the country even as the country prepares for another general election in 2023.
In his Sallah message, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi said, “We must all follow the dictates of the faith as we also imbibe the lessons of obedience and sacrifice demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim”.
Marking the occasion, the Senator who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine transport expressed happiness over the successful completion of Ramadan 2022 fast that attracted supplications and dedication to the service of Almighty Allah.
The Ogun West Senator also indicated that “Nigerians must strive to live in harmony and continue to display the lessons learnt from the sacred month in their lives and in relation to others.
While wishing Muslims faithful a happy Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the Senator restated his unwavering commitment to the overall welfare of the people and the development of Ogun West Senatorial District.
He further prayed that Almighty Allah grant all more opportunities to celebrate many more Ramadan in good health.
