After N6 Million Ransom, body of kidnaped Kano Business man found in Kogi

After the family of Kidnaped Kano-based business man, Yahaya Hassan Musa, rallied round to gather N6m Ransome for his release, his corpse was found in Kogi

Hassan Musa, 39-year-old, was abducted by gunmen on his rerurn from a business trip in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

After allegedly being kidnapped on Thursday, in a forest around Mopa area of Kogi State, the kidnappers demanded N10m but later slashed it to N6m

According to his brother, Abubakar Hassan Musa, who took the N6m to the kidnappers, his brother used to fly whenever he travelled, but that on that fateful trip he decided to return by road.

He explained his brother who is married with two kids, was returning from Cotonou, Benin Republic, after a business trip and was kidnapped in a forest around Mopa area of Kogi State
He indicated that the kidnappers demanded for N10m and later slashed it to N6m.

“The following day I continued the search until a woman who was kidnapped alongside my brother called me and said they killed him before even collecting the ransom, but that she didn’t know where they dumped his body.

“I went back to the nearby town and hired hunters to get back into the forest and search for the corpse. After trekking for many kilometers, we found his decomposing corpse.” He said.

According to his brother, after they consulted the family in Kano, they buried him inside the forest because of his decomposing body.

He added because he couldn’t find a bus to carry him to Kano, they buried him according to Islamic rites
