Group observe special Prayer session for Peaceful Conduct Of 2023 Election in Jigawa

To invoke divine intervention for peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections in 2023, a youth group in Jigawa state has partnered with the Ulamas to observe special prayer session in the three senatorial districts of the state.

The Jigawa central senatorial district’s prayers was held at Sara town of Gwaram local government area in the state.
The event had in attendance prominent Islamic schoolars and traditional leaders across the zone.

The youth group under the umbrella of Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi Youth support group organized the special prayer for peace, unity and progress of the nation.

Speaking to journalist at the event the chief convener of the special prayer Comrade Aminu Aminu said, the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general election is very crucial to the survival, unity and progress of the nation.

“It is civic responsibility upon every Nigerian to support the country’s democratic system and also wish it well, so in view of that we organized this special prayer”

Comrade Aminu noted that, hundreds of Ulamas from various Tsangaya were engaged for the recitation of the holy Quran to seek the support of the Almighty God and intervention for the peaceful conduct of the election.

They also prayed the Almighty God to support, guide and help Jigawa state Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar in his race to become the next president of Nigeria.

He explained that, Governor Badaru is tested and trusted and also a reliable person who has all the required qualities to led Nigeria to the promise land.
Aminu added that, beside special prayer (Seeking divine intervention) the group will also embarked on public enlightenment for politicians and the general public to be law abiding during the political campaigns and election period.
