Bello pays a congratulatory visit to vice president-elect
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has paid a congratulatory visit to the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja on Friday.
Bello who is the National Youth Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council visited the Vice President-elect to congratulate him on the party’s victory in the just concluded Presidential election where Senator Shettima emerged as Vice President-elect.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Onogwu Muhammed quoted Bello to have expressed his belief that Senator Shettima will provide the support the President-elect needs.
He also expressed the optimism that Asiwaju/Shettima will confront with renewed vigour the most urgent problems facing the country in formulating policies that will improve security and the living standards of all Nigerians.
“Before moving into a closed-door session, Governor Yahaya Bello prayed to the Almighty to guide and protect the Vice President and President-elect in the task ahead.”
